It really was an eye-opener to find my way to the headwaters of so many streams of scientific and science fictionish thought. The BIS is a planetary treasure few people have ever heard of. A lot of thinking has already been done in these areas. I mean a <em>lot.</em> Maybe DARPA needs to start by looking that stuff up first. Well, they could start here.
