Comments in passing April 24, 2011 11:48 am TB

I understand this is a work in progress, but I still haven’t figured out how to add a comment to a specific post.  I can “reply” to comments.  There doesn’t seem to be an indentation to show the flow of conversation.

Push that button on the right of the control panel to turn on “kitchen sink.”  Lots of nice features!

Multiple sub-boards of boards would not be a feature, but a bug.  Even on Tiki it was very difficult to track specific conversations, and only the “recent post” column made it possible at all.  I would miss a lot if there were dozens of categories floating around.

Robert knows tht WordPress is a blogging engine, not a forum engine, but he’s hacking it.  Will be interesting to see the end result, and I’d bet it will work, but maybe starting out with a vanilla forum engine might be better?  Not an expert in these things, just asking.
