I could understand if NASA and the White House coveted billions of dollars worth of oil money from Saudi Arabia to be invested in ambitious NASA programs like a manned mission to an asteroid.
But this idea of appealing to Muslims in general by
some political/cultural backslapping reeks of the worst kind of patronizing.
Muslims already take pride in their historic
cultural and scientific achievements such as Algebra, chemistry, and astronomy.
They will see through NASA's and the WH's agenda,
and see it for what it is; a political ploy.
