SETI followers and faith.... Let me give you a definition of faith.

FAITH.

A well-known definition of faith:
"FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not seen."

Who made that definition of faith?

Does that definition of FAITH apply to the SETI fanatics, I mean adherents?
I mean followers?

Let's see then...Break down that quote into analytical parts...

[PART 1] "The substance of things hoped for"
,..SETI followers certainly "hope" for visual or electronic manifestation of the hypothetical existence of ET.

[PART 2] "The evidence of things not seen".
SETI followers certainly seek evidence of things [ET] not seen, nor manifest in any
way shape or form.

There is silence.
