No intent by me to stir up a hornet's nest, however why should a press release be taken with such zeal by the public and posters here? Does the mere speculation of life beyond the confines of our planet threaten us and doctrine? I have no qualms about statements such as that released by Vatican/ Observatory but find it amazing in the 21st century that well educated people would be so homo-sapien centic that it clouds judgement and reasoning. Just a fact I reported and yes we even talked this over with the kids and wife last night.
