Check this word out!... Epistomology....Both science and religion share that word.

Where is the evidence?....The proof?
Where are the reproducible results?
The SETI crowd offer diddly squat for evidence.

The goal of SETI is driven by what purpose?

I'll repeat the question: The SETI goal is DRIVEN by what PURPOSE?

Is the purpose PURELY curiosity or PURELY thirst for knowledge?

No it isn't....

The SETI crowd's purpose, their drive is less PURE
than that.
There is no such thing as PURE science.
I REPEAT! There is no such thing as PURE science.

There is no such thing as science free of subjective visceral human yearnings
that go beyond interest in learning or simple curiosity.

I go to the great philosopher and scientist, Rene Descarte.
"He said each human has a God vacuum inside that they would like to fill."
That was the gist of his statement, not verbatim quote.

You could say that's nonsense, bit I believe him.
Too many funerals and a troubling human conscience in the midst of times of genuine solitude reveal greater truths than science is capable of finding.

Scientists are so pathetic when it comes to being poetic than prosaic.
