Well, as a "diehard" skeptic, I'm not going to try to tell anybody that we're categorically not being visited. How would *I* know?
I'm just saying that before jumping aboard the big hovering saucer-shaped bandwagon, I'd like a little concrete proof. A story, even one told by an astronaut, is just a story. A blurry image only serves to widen the circle of confusion.
I don't think it's necessarily a closed mind that wants to be given something tangible. Just like Fox Mulder, I want to beleive, I honestly do. No one will do a better backflip than I, should the day ever come when real evidence of alien life
surfaces...but until then my feet will remain on the ground. That doesn't mean I'm not paying attention.
