just a few weeks ago.

No danger of any of that finding it's way to my table. The lutefisk made me think of hominy which is a corn dish my mother used to serve that I hated. It is made by soaking corn kernels in lye. It winds up looking like popcorn and tasting like...well, unsalted popcorn boiled in lye.

You have to wonder who was the first to figure out lye works for cooking
