I believe the experts say "let sleeping dogs lie".
I think it would be suicidal to bring up something that happened long ago that no-one knew about. To this degree, I can see where something like this would be hurtful and have no real purpose.
This is acceptable, I would think, rather than the lying philanderer that keeps a good woman around while exploring the competition. Those men are selfish, lying whores.
