Yes, but WE are more willing to experiment and take risks. Women are essentially conservative by nature, men more liberal (not in the political sense, of course). They are the two essential sides of the same coin, each gains ascendancy when the other falters.
A great French yachtsman once responded, when asked if women can make good sailors:
"In skill and courage, they certainly can be the equal of any man. But watch your mate when she first goes ashore after a long passage. She will curl her toes in the sand, and smile wistfully at the laughter of the landsmen's children while your thoughts soon turn to refitting and reprovisioning for the next leg of the voyage."
