From what I gather here, Slick was apparently killed in action. I don't know where and how--the only lethal U.S. military event that took place on January 20 that I was able to find--and believe me, I know how to look--was the Marine helicopter crash that was public knowledge, and none of the names involved is familiar to me.If he was on a secret mission, I hope someday enough will be revealed so he gets the honor that was deserved. I'm a bit puzzled by this--military casualties have been revealed to the public even from troops on classified missions in Afghanistan, although the circumstances have usually been kept quiet. Maybe there just hasn't been enough time for the information to become public. On the other hand, if he was someplace Americans aren't supposed to be, where would that be? Apparently, someplace with minefields. Someplace where people are starving. If not Afghanistan, where?
