He and I have talked about the language project often. (I minored in European languages as an undergrad, and his instinctive understanding of poetry made it easy to relate unknown -- to me -- Native languages to linguistic structures I'm more used to.) I'm not sure where to go with it, but I'm sure not going to let it go.

It will take a while to get things moving without his understanding and spark, but I want to try.
