Placement of a CO detector.
Posted by Bowser on 6/30/2008 8:22:43 AM
I have a 9V battery powered CO detector for my van. Prudent, since I also have a catalytic propane heater for it which is supposedly OK for indoor use if there is some ventilation.

I'm wondering if the detector should be placed high, low or in the middle. There will be air circulation, usually, but if that fails will the CO rise or is there something operative which would cause it to settle?

Thanks for whatever anyone knows.
