Most of you may already know all of this. I'm late to more than a few parties.
After getting lost in Jackson, MS, forthe 2nd or 3rd time I purchased a $250 Garmin car GPS. I didn't take time to read the directions, just tore it out of the box and put it in. And it worked and worked well.
The operation is intuitive, the touch screen leading one through whatever one needs to enter an address, search out the various landmarks, stores, motels and so on. One touches where one wants to go, and it's done.
The visual and voice directions are clear and easy to follow. I entered the various addresses in Memphis I wanted, and from then on could find them from wherever I was.
I'll bet it has saved me from at least one accident as I haven't had to dither and abruptly change lanes in the middle of a busy intersection.
I recommend them.
