It's not like the people who want to destroy us are going to evaporate when our troops leave Iraq or Afghanistan, any more than they left us alone when our troops weren't there.

Even you must realize there's a point where military action is called for before your actual borders are threatened. Do you think the first Gulf War was justified? The Korean War? Should we have just let the communists overrun Vietnam and God knows how many other nations without even so much as supporting their opposing numbers?
When you come up with a way to kill only the bad guys in a village somewhere in Pakistan or anywhere else without the use of the only weapon that has that kind of judgment--large numbers of troops on the ground face to face--please clue us all in on it.
It gets easier every day to see why the typical modern Democrat should never be allowed within a hundred miles of the Oval Office.
