Your "chickenhawk" boilerplate probably impresses them over at Kos. It doesn't take much. Keep in mind it isn't going to play very well in the 2008 election, since the Republican candidate actually does have children in the military.

My youngest will be 18 next year. If my own kids decide to join the military, more power to them. You were aware it's their choice, right? If they do join the military, I will try to explain to them why so many of their own countrymen so badly want to see them fail.

I stated that there are sometimes worse courses of action than war. Anybody who knows history knows this is true.

The average Obama-type seems to operate on the level of "No U.S. troops in combat = all is well." If Obama thinks pulling the U.S. out of that area is equivalent to "ending the war," then he's stupider than I think he is.

I showed Obama's own published positions, explained why they are pretty much divorced from reality, and what the end result in that region of the world is likely to be if he carries them out as advertised.

You imply your support of Obama is based on rational analysis.

It's painfully obvious this isn't true.
