As I told my sister, even Christ while on the cross cried, "My God, my God, why have thou foresaken me?"
All one can hope for is that not everyone around him or her has a weak moment at the same time. And even then they just indicate despair, which can be sane and rational. And then the tough just do the next thing in front of them and keep on keepin' on. At least that's what I've noticed watching tough people.
