From Tom Brosz: "[attached are] several shots of radar tracks. Most are animated GIF loops, some are static pictures. Given the persistence over time of the echo, and it's eastward drift, what I believe these show is the atmospheric cloud or disturbance created by the passage of the Shuttle and debris, rather than the debris itself, although I am certainly no expert. Radial artifacts, what seem to be bright narrow lines emanating from the radar source, are common in such radar pictures, and I hope nobody tries to claim they are "missiles" or something. They are particularly prominent in the Louisiana shots, and if you think they are subject to too much misinterpretation, you might want to leave them off."
