Delbert Crawford

Born Christmas Eve 1939, 5 minutes after my identical twin brother. Grew up on my dad's farm in Wasco California. After high school, 3 years at Bakersfield collage, and 2 years in the army, I spent 34 years as an aerospace worker for Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo CA. I am now retired and spending most of my time here on the net. Favorite movie, "2001". Favorite TV show, "Star Trek the Next Generation", (sorry Justin). Favorite book, "To Kill a Mockingbird". Favorite food, chocolate milkshake! (Why I'm 40 lb. over weight). Interests are, of course, science, astronomy, space, movies, TV, reading, computers.

After meeting my wife Barbara, and the birth of my 2 kids, the most outstanding events in my life were being at the cape for the Apollo 11 liftoff, the 1991 solar eclipse in Hawaii, and watching the Shuttle land at Edward's Air force base.
