and Oil goes back up, when, surprise surprise, people finally figure out that none of the fundamentals governing the valuation of the market, nor the fundamentals behind the valuation of oil have changed for the better in the last 2 weeks. Indeed, they have gotten worse.
Running up stocks because the billions of dollars of losses were not as bad as they could have been, or because Oil drops by 10%, is not a 'stock market recovery', nor is it a sign that the worst is over. When these companies do their next quarterly report, what they report, and what happens to the market either way will be interesting to watch.
