Roberts numerous screw ups despite the best intentions and a more even temper than most make that obvious. Mary Anne used to be even more even tempered than Robert, but the passions here rattled even her out of objectivity from time to time. The bottom line is that even the best men and women for the job make mistakes. No one else should feel bad about making them too as long as you are willing to admit them. Getting a little riled on occasion shouldn't even count as that IMO. I have no idea what the issue you are discussing is about, but that's a general comment in response to your title.
