The objections were to your tone when others voicing disagreement in milder tones get a public talking to by the uber-moderator... It was more about an uber-double-standard than about you.
In looking over the posts on the mod-squad lounge it is clear that the fallacious meme that Lindy is a poor innocent victim that needs to be protected just wont play with the moderators anymore- especially since the unfortunate Fox blow up... and to answer your recent post there- no, we are not protesting your tenure as moderator, I think you are doing fine. I was just giving you a good-natured jab for blasting me for doing the same thing.
I don't object to the tone you used in your post- Lindy DOES need to grow a brain, (unfortunately, if she did grow one she would wrap it in tinfoil to keep it from being affected by government mind control rays).
From your posts here and on the lounge its clear you all take your jobs seriously and do the best you can (However, I DO resent Robert S.'s condescending tone in his posts over there...)
You are doing well at moderating, keep it up... dont take the grumbling personally- we like you, we really do! Heck, since I am currently in your neck of the woods I might swing by melbourne for a pint with you!
